For Season 2, I'd dearest to re-engage and explore that concept once more, depending on his schedule… The question is, can he do a whole season? That's a large commitment, and he'southward ever on another show. I really want to be able to write him a great office and a great arc in a season."
He besides talked to SlashFilm about Thompson's potential return. "When we talked to [Kenan], we said, 'We'd beloved to exist able to use you in a existent way and have you come in and not just exist a cameo but come up in and actually do some storylines,'" Brill explained.
"So that's the hope for the future, for sure. I think Kenan's Russ Tyler graphic symbol went off to be on Saturday Night Live, strangely enough, and that's what Kenan did, and then when Russ comes back, he could be a guy who was on Saturday Nighttime Live. That makes perfect sense."

Now the new Mighty Ducks are ready for their next journey. They could endeavor to win the state championship again. Or maybe, like the pic D2, they'll contend with international rivals. Brill hinted at this possibility to SlashFilm, though he seems to be saving that storyline for a future season.
"I sort of think of it like the movies. The whole team sort of moves into some other adventure together. They could stay in Minneapolis and but exist more rooted in the stories there," he said. "Nosotros gotta figure that out, merely somewhen, they should go to Europe and play. In like season four, they should go to Europe. When it opens up, we should definitely get to Europe and play in an international tournament."
